Originally from the Chicago area, Brian brings a well-rounded business background and a strong grasp of both Western expectations and Southeast Asian realities. After graduating from the University of Kansas and spending several years in a corporate role, he stepped away from the traditional path to pursue something more meaningful: a life and business abroad.
Since first arriving in Vietnam in 2019, Brian has developed a deep understanding of local systems, cultural nuances, and the practical challenges Western businesses face when entering the market. At Far East, he plays the role of translator—not just of language, but of mindset, expectations, and systems.
Thao was born and raised in Biên Hòa, Vietnam, and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance from Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City. She later pursued advanced English study programs in the Philippines and Finland, gaining valuable experience in both customer-service and client-facing roles.
Her time abroad sharpened her cultural fluency and gave her a unique understanding of how international clients operate. Today, she serves as the key communication bridge between Western investors and local Vietnamese stakeholders—ensuring every conversation is clear, respectful, and effective.
With over 15 years of experience in Vietnamese business law, accounting, and taxation, Mr. Dien is the legal and financial backbone of Far East Consultancy. He holds a licensed tax consultant certification—one of Vietnam’s highest-level credentials—authorizing him to represent clients before tax and government authorities.
As the founder of a long-standing accounting firm in Đồng Nai, he has guided both local businesses and foreign-invested ventures through complex legal procedures. From company registration and tax compliance to regulatory strategy and government approvals, his expertise ensures that clients operate with clarity, confidence, and full legal compliance.
